    I am looking to build my first simulator and have a acquired 6 hydraulic actuators - previously used in a simulator

    lots of the projects I have seen use wiper motors

    has anyone built a hydraulic diy simulator ?

    You will need to give a bit more information.

    What is the make, model and interface type for the actuators and being from a previous sim is there any other associated gear like control boxes or do you at least know who manufactured the sim.

    Hi guys thanks for the replies

    I have 6 actuators and a controller where you connect wires in the back and a row of what looks like solenoids - there is no hydraulic pump

    they are made by moog hydraulics ( I cant upload a link yet because i am a new user -- only a few more posts to go)

    attached is a picture of the simulator i started building just before xmas - i think it may be easier to make this a 2dof with 2 wiper motors
