About a year ago I posted on here if someone would post a affordable parts list to build a 2dof motion setup . Someone actually PM'd me with a parts list and where to purchase . I had saved the message on to my desktop but had to reformat my PC and forget to save to a thumb drive these would be the second time I did these "This is why I feel , "DUPID". Thank you so much ! Question regarding the motors , of the two on your list what are the differences between 25.1 and 50.1 and finally what size flexible couplings to connect Hall Sensors to motor shafts would I need the page you listed has various to pick from. These being my first attempt in building a motion rig I want to make sure I purchase the correct sizes. Thank you so much again !

The 25:1s suit designs like shoulder mounts where there is plenty of inherent design leverage, though they are easily back driven, while the 50:1s suit designs that require additional torque, they can be back driven under a fair amount of load but have pretty good holding power when unpowered.

So my advice is first work out what it is you want to build, then select motors and parts accordingly.

So if I wanted to do a seat mover that moves the seat base instead of the shoulders I would use the 50.1 .Just trying to learn about my options.
