Sirnoname I would be most apprecative if you would give directions on the proper way to save the Initial Speed and Initial Acceleration in a profile so that when it is loaded it will contain same.

    Most grateful.

Sirnoname my sincere thanks for your reply.

I have changed the name of the topic as you requested and as a newbee would like to digest these directions that you outline. I will post again when I have done this.

    Regards

    He beat me to it.

Toktiny, in your case, you can use altitude, not speed in order to have a different speed/acceleration values when on the ground vs in the air. However, the above still doesn't show you how to create a synaptrix section properly. Have you accomplished this yet? I should probably make a video tuturial on this subject.

I have spent te afternoon trying to create a synaptrix section properly and have failed I am sorry to admit. I even went as far when I could not find the proper way of doing this of taking the section out of Bernard's m2 and putting it into mine with the proper directoutputport names as they were not the same and creating four new axis in X-Sim ;1.Left Actuator Speed 2. Left actuator Acceleration 3. Right Actuator Speed 4. Right Actuator Acceleration. When I saved this profile and then reloaded it at least it loaded but I am afraid did not contain the speed and acceleration that I had saved with it. So to answer your question Bernard is thatI have not accomplished this yet !!

I have certainly learned a lot from Sirnoname's post that I will use when I get through the basics as pointed out above.

Bernard no joy I am afraid. I followed your directions on the video and loaded up the required speed and acceleration on the synaptrix section for both axis. Saved new m2 with these settings.I then purposly loaded another m2 with different settings as I found from previous experiance that X-sim will allways give you back the same settings that it closed with when you restart it. I quit X-sim , reloaded it and then loaded the new m2. It started with the same settings as it had closed with ,no new settings which I had put in the synaptrix section of the new profile.

I then opened the new m2 and found that all the synaptrix settings that I had put in were there exactly as I had saved them. I then created another m2 with exactly the same settings that you had put in the sample video, loaded it in the same way as above but that did not portray the new settings ether. When I load different m2's with different settings in their respective synaptrix sections and when I check the Synaptrix section, they both load there different settings into X-Sim which show up on the screen but I am afraid they dont put them into effect.

Find attached my new m2 with the synaptrix section in it and also a copy of what you will see this showing up in the loaded X-Sim.

    Many thanks

    Toni

Sirnoname to answer the first part of your question, that was perfectly correct, I placed the setup, it was loaded into X-Sim but would not take effect.

Now your second observation regarding the trigger value you hit it on the head, I changed this to zero and now I have my three m2's with the appropriate settings for speed and acceleration loading up automatically. Thanks a million.
