    Hello,

I am looking forward to getting x-sim working!

My initial goal is having iRacing shared memory populated with telemetry data.

In Force-Sender, I have selected iRacing as official developer plugin. IP address of Force-Profiler2 is localhost. I do not have Force-Profiler running as it did not seem required in order to have the shared memory populated by Force-Sender (this is an assumption).

Game executable location is what I am struggling with. I have tried a few of the executables in the iRacing bin directory. However, iRacing is launched from Web browser so it does not seem like this location is relevant. In any case, selecting Play Game does not launch iRacing.

What are steps needed to make x-sim work with iRacing? Does x-sim come with basic utility so see contents of shared memory so I can validate it is working?

    Thanks

Just launch iRacing as you normally would. You don't have to launch the game from the Force Sender. Once the game is started, you can press the try send data button and X-Sim will gather the data from iRacing and make it available for use in the Profiler for simulator control or gauges.

I dont know what you mean by My initial goal is having iRacing shared memory populated with telemetry data. Why would you write any telemetry data back to iRacing?

    Thanks for the quick reply...

I did not intend to say iRacing shared memory. I should have said shared memory exposed by x-sim.

I will give what you said a try and report back here.

    Thanks again,

    John
