Well after a week of messing around with my arduino, simtools, and codes provided, I finally got two servos to move. I looked like a cave man who just discovered fire, my wife just rolled her eyes. Have not been able to spend a lot of time on it between work, kids, horses, cows, peacocks, an apartment building, bla bla bla. Anyways I'm pumped they moved, although they quit after about 20 sec, still major progress. my plan is for a 2 dof with 115v ac linear actuators ran by arduino uno, relay shield, and reversing relays. I have a sim-pit now(3x32" monitors+19" Elo touchscreen for Helios) built on a frame with a motion dream when I built it, however last November I got piper Cherokee fuselage to transfer it to, so eventually wieght will be an issue. For now I want to build a simple platform to enjoy, maybe with oculus rift. Sorry for the rambling. I will try to post pics, and thank you to everyone on here. This has been a dream for many years for me, now Im afraid there will be many sleepless nights.
