    Hi,

My Jrk 12v12 (used for a custom built seat belt tensioner) has probably resigned after many years in service and I'm searching for a replacement. It seems that the Jrk 12v12 spikes in amp (tested with Pololu's software).

Does anyone know if the Jrk G2 18v19 can be a good alternative that is easy to set-up (i.e. copy-paste the current settings from the Jrk G2 12v12) or if it is the wrong specification (18v?)? Please consider me as a complete beginner in terms of simulator builds, however very happy to get your input on this before deciding on if I should try go give this repair a go or I've rather just buy SimXperience's G-belt instead...

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Thank you for a rapid reply and the support! 18v27 seems to be the go to and I assume limiting the ampere in the Pololu-software to save the hardware.

Do you know if I need to consider anything specific regarding my engine (when going from 12v12 to 18v27)? Eg. do you think that the higher voltage may damage the engine? Or should I just try copy-paste the current settings from the 12v12 and hope that works out?

    Many thanks.

I presume the voltage will remain the same at 12v, unless you are changing the current PSU you are using.

As it is a different controller the settings may need to be tweaked to whatever is best for it.

Perfect, many thanks for this! I’ll order a G2 18v27.
