Have no idea what I will do with them but sure I can think of something.

A lot of the top bearings were seized and rusty but the gearboxes seem perfectly good. Commutator were covered with crap but clean up nicely. 20150814_143624.jpg 20150814_143618.jpg 20150814_143639.jpg

Should all work like a charm once I fix them up a little.

All my friends are console gamers not one has a half decent PC to play on. Maybe I will make dual 6DOF's :D

A decent motor/gearbox is the most expensive cost for a 6DOF, so good find :thumbs. The thing with commercial motors is that their ratings are often continuous, therefore with a bit of cooling, you can normally overdrive them by quite a bit.

Eg/ Standard rated motor against a commercial rated motor - the smaller motor is rated at 12v 350W and the bigger one is 12v 320w (continuous). Many 'standard' motors are only good for 15minutes at their full rated load - cycle them at more than that and you will want some cooling, which some members have implemented.
