    Hello friends, okay?

I'll start this topic to show the progress of my simulator and exchange experiences with you.

I'm starting with the electronic part in which I chose to use the plates AMC and H-Bridge designed by Thanos.

I have ordered the electronic parts that are starting to arrive and lay-outs and transfer the plates already drilled.

Not yet defined the model of the cockpit that I use, but I hope all of you suggestions.
For some time I'm reading and rereading various projects and hopefully get a nice result with all the information that I'm taking the x-sim.

Sorry for my English, I'm using google to translate.

Grateful and expect cooperation from all of you.

    Rafael, thanks for the tips,

As I said above, not yet set a model which will use the Cockpit.

In the first hand was wanting to use the Joyrider, but after reading enough, I thought it better to opt for Simforce.

But I'm still looking and accepting opinions.

Regarding the electronics, I am totally a layman and am starting to work with it now.

I had to learn everything myself, watching videos on youtube but I'm pretty hopeful, because I learned to transfer the circuit, welding and drilling the plates ...... lol

I'll need much help from everyone here in the forum, but I'm sure I'll get.

    Thank you,

    Kiko

    Hello,

I appreciate the tip above, had already observed this hypothesis, but I'm rather stubborn'll keep more AMC H-Bridge.

If complicate things, I go to proliferating as Plan B.

It's always good to have new challenges in life ......... rs

The night I'll post my first pictures.

I've been away for a few days, but now I'm back.

While I hope the electronics parts arrive, I put a little time in the layout of my simulator.

I'll post to you the 3D model I'm doing.

I would like suggestions to further improve my project.

    Go there a few observations:

    1. The screen is removable, and may adjust a monitor or tv of any inch.

    2. Not yet finalized the support gear and keyboard, will be tomorrow.

    3. I wanted to observe more or less, measures and slope of the seat support for engines.

    4. The structure we intend to use is steel, because I want something very sturdy.

    5. I also wanted to observe the action on the seat, steering wheel and pedals.

    6. The wheel will be adjustable in height and depth, and the pedals are adjustable in depth.

Thankful and a great weekend everyone.

Nice design there! However, wouldn't it be better if the wheel and pedals were part of the motion seat? Just a thought.

Good job Kikko, I like the front end! When you make the back end, make sure you have different positions to play with and tune the geometry.

bsft: no, this setup will give better feelings with less amount of work from the motors.

Thanks friends for the comments above,

Now I wait to get my electronic components to begin manufacturing the plates, as I said before I will use the model of Tronic.

I think the principle I have a little difficulty, because my knowledge of electronics is pretty weak, but I'm sure I can, because the way I'm able to count on your help.

This week more work on the frame design and tune a few items and begin production next week.

I thought this project and this type of frame, so now I want to adapt SCN5, will it work well with the model I created?

I also intend to soon make him constant updates as well as purchase equipment ECCI, Rozo wheel, pedals reversed, there of course, goes my imagination.

I'm excited about the project and hope to count on your help.

    Grateful

    Kiko

I made some updates to the layout.

As I said earlier, the wheel would be adjustable in height and depth.

Note the position of the steering wheel in the picture below.

    p_1.jpg

The same goes for the pedals, they can be adjusted both in height and in depth.

    Hello,

I was a little gone, hoping to reach the electronic parts to start making circuit boards.

Well they came for the most part and now I'm just finishing them.

The night I'll post some pictures.

I'm having doubts about the source of energy.

    1. As I read earlier, several people suggested a car battery, what is the correct voltage and amperage to buy?
Remembering that my engines are 12 volts.

    2. I also need another hint, which use cable to connect the AMC to the computer to program the chip?

    3. One more question, which the potentiometers suitable for my project?

    Grateful and look forward

Below pictures of the cards I'm doing and I just bought the engines,

For those who could not even weld, I think I'm doing well ... rs

After much reading follows from the work, but there are still some parts to arrive.

I ask for the experts that give a look and tell me if it's alright.

They can take a look at the weld to see if it also good?

Here is the latest update of the frame,

I made some adjustments in overall width, in order to pass through the doors without any problems and also did an update at the seat, where it will be adjusted for height, inclination and depth.

As I said earlier, this type of frame that I'm doing it can be used either as the GT and Formulas.

The materials are already purchased and next week start production.

    I await comments from you.

As for the evolution of production'll post pictures.

    Looking good
Try to remove solder residue (the greasy stuff) from DSMhb board, and you should solder the HB resistors before mounting mosfets (Thanos's advice).
Keep up the good work :)

    Hello,

Friends, I have a big problem finding the capacitors 100nf/100volts and 1.2 nf.

Does it have any other that I can replace?

The cockpit frame is almost done, and this week put the photos for you guys.

I await a light from you.

    Grateful

    Hello,

I was looking for a cable to connect the notebook to the AMC and found this cable with a USB output and one DB9.

Can you tell me if it will serve to program my board?

    :hi: Kiko!
I will connect it straight to the motherboard. I bought parts so I can make the cable.
    DB9 (AMC) > IDC 10 com/serial (MB)
