I thought that now that we have diagrams of common wiring for the simulators (thanks illi), that we could add more sample matrix’s for people to play with – or at least one for each type of setup.
So I was thinking a dropdown box would be nice and we could have it populate the selection from the “Matrixsamples” folder, so more sample matrixes could be added easily.

    Anyway, just an Idea,
Thanks for the awesome software, hope to be using it soon!

    Hi,

thats a very useful idea ;)

    regards

BTW: If some more people would use the x-sim software, and sirnoname would get a little more feedback for his software (that means if its ok, or if there are somewhere bugs) his motivation would be much higher to change such little things in the x-sim software!

So, please hurry up and use it! ;)

I believe that with the sale of the “USB 1.3 group order Controllers” that we will see more people posting gaming profiles and matrixes. I myself will post the gaming profiles once I learn how to “hack” a game as all the instructions are still in German, even the awesome video that was made is in German, so I just need to get my simulator done so I can figure it out.

Also, since in the states we can’t buy used rock n’ rides to build off of; there are quite a few steps that are needed to figure out to build a sim from scratch. And you guys have been very helpful in that department! I know I have asked a TON of questions that are now in the forums, and I hope that it will help others starting from scratch.

Once I’m up and running I’ll test and report on anything you want. I love this project!! And believe that a simulator based around your software is simply the best you can get, due to how many games it can support. People that buy a commercial simulator usually get support for one game and pay a TON more. This just makes me laugh!

A few of my friends have show an interest in getting a frame built for them once I have a final plan, so you may see a small community of x-simers right here in Portland Oregon.

The new version of the software sounds excellent; I think we should just add Matrix files for the drawings illi made to the new version. I believe the easier it’s made for people to get started the more people will pick up the project and the more people will post profiles.

Anyway, thanks again for this excellent project that just would not be possible without such great software!

I would just add that I also think this X-sim SW project is excellent. It was because of this forum and the existense of this software I started my project.

I have the same problem as yobuddy, a lot of posts on the forum and still some info on the website is in german. That means we use a little longer to gather the information we need. As soon as I get my sim up and running I will post my profiles - and report back how I think the SW works and suggestions for improvements.

@sirnoname - Keep up the good work! You and the other active forum members are helping a lot of people. As more people are starting to use the SW we will see an exponential growth in X-simmers!! :D

    Edit:
I just saw that this was an old post, but anyway - it still holds true! :)
