Has anyone ever attempted to create ffb on a flight stick using load cells or any other mechanism? We have an old ultralight that we are converting to a simulator for a club and i was hoping we might be able to simulate feedback on the controls like what is experienced during flight. I was thinking load cells, but that might not be the right answer.

Game vibe, amp, transducer mounted to the joystick mount. That will net you vibrations produced by the game via telemetry output.
