I'm looking to build a 6DOF sim but i don't know how much it will cost. I'm wanting to go with something with a smooth feeling but i don't know if i should go with the wiper motors of hydraulics any advice would be greatly appreciated. If any one knows where i can find a step by step guide would also be appreciated thank you again in advance.

Wiper motors are totally unsuited to a 6DOF rig and while there are some very detailed build threads you won't find a step by step guide as such, you are going to need to do some research and planning instead.

Start your research in the FAQ 6DOF section: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/6dof.22/category

In particular check out how to build DIY actuators: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/diy-linear-actuators.248/

Then review all existing 6DOF member build threads: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=site:xsimulator.net+6dof&ia=web
