    Now this is an interesting simulator. I've been trying to find data on this simulator for years..... All the info I've gotten have been from inside sources :)

    It's obvious that some systems have been removed for the promo video (like the helmet tether system), but even still; I think this is one of the most advanced simulators in F1.

    I've seen that video and my impression is that the FOV is completely off, as is the size of the tires, not to mention the image distortion on the sides...
    What is so special about this sim, Chris?

    It is clearly mentioned that software modelling of the engine, aerodynamics, tyres, physics, etc. is what differentiates it from anything else. This is true, and I'm sure their software engineers have done a great job with it.


    As far as the simulator and physical effects go, this is equivalent of a D-Box system on a turntable with real F1 parts. It is completely missing all the acceleration and cornering forces...

    This is a completely dumbed down version of their simulator. I agree with MY, the visuals are way off too.
