One of my favourite treasures in the toolbox is the semiconductor mosfet tester
    Atlas DCA55 by PEAK
Very useful for testing mosfet and Bipolartransistors, Darlington-Transistors, MOSFETs, junction field effect transistor, Triacs, Thyristors, LEDs, two-coloured LEDs, Diodes and Diodes-networks.
Kind of component is recognized automatically and will be shown on the LCD display. Function testing lasts only few seconds. Components must not be under voltage for testing them.

A cheap checking device for a great plenty of different semiconductors.

    Out of the product description:
An intelligent device for testing a variety of semiconductor devices.

    • Automatic detection of devices: bipolar transistors, Darlington transistors, enhancement mode MOSFETs, Depletion MOSFETs, junction FETs, Triacs, SCRs, LEDs, Bi-color LEDs, diodes and diode networks.
    • Automatic port detection for any of the above component types.
    • Recognition of special functions, such as protection diodes and shunts.
    • Gain measurement for transistors.
    • measurement of the gate-threshold voltage MOSFETs for enrichment.
    • Measurements of the semiconductor forward voltage for diodes, transistors and LEDs.
    • Semiconductor test current measurement.
    • Automatic and manual switching.

What type of mosfet tester do you use?
