Hi guys thanks foe accepting me I to the group and for all the invaluable information contained within this community.

I do have a few small questions as my build progresses.
I have just received the 12v dc .odors as used by many here from motion dynamics in Australia please see pic supplied.
My question is this, the gearbox housing is simetrcal and gas a shaft that protrudes roughly 20mm to one side, can I strip the gearbox and just swap the shaft over internally thus keeping my motors simetrcal on the rig.?

The next one is how are you guys fixing the control arm and shaft to the gearbox boss, either weld or threaded rod maybe?

Any help would be much appreciated
Atrat is a few pics of my project box I have just started 20230413_151509.jpg 20230413_151420.jpg

Thanks for the speedy reply,I did take them apart in the and swap them over, only a 5 minute job and looks symmetrical on the rig,
Still undecided how to attach the control arm as yet,and the pots as well
