    Hi all

i am planning my new motion rig, currently i have red quite a few pages in those 2 projects which i like and wanna take as a source for parts.

Sadly cannot post links yet but i do like the projects of Nick Moxley and Pit.

But currently my two big questions are:

I am quite tall 1.92m and ~115kg so quite some more weight than the builders of their motion sims.
Would both motors used still able to kick me around or does all melt down ?

Also i am not sure if the wheel and pedals should be connected to the motion back or should be better be separate and static ?

    Regards
    Lorien

shoulder mount seat mover, 25:1 boxes at 30 deg angle back and sides, 50 mm CTC lever, 200 watt motors , JRKs, will throw you around no problem . Keep wheel and pedals static.

What is the difference between the JRKs and the Arduino+MM Solution ?

The max cont. current of the JRK's is only 12A, also the price difference.

Are there any known suppliers for those 25:1 Worm motors in europe or is it only the canadian guy who sells them ?

JRKS will run 30 amps continuous all day with 45 amp spikes , some of us run them with 200 watt motors no problem
    Heres some videos

Not sure of motor supplies , maybe @noorbeast or @Nick Moxley might know

I would go with the 60:1 for safety. Little longer lever and you'll be golden.

    Yes for JRK's. :cheers

@Lorien31 , 2 JRKS may cost more, but there is no coding or sorting of codes unlike ARD and MM, they hook up easy and really do perform long term. For the money you will pay extra, you will be surprised.
