Hello. I have a car simulator. I am passionate about rally racing, and more specifically the Richard Burns Rally.
Over the past ten years, driving simulators have become very cool!
I have an Oculus quest 2 VR headset.
I bought a direct drive steering wheel.
    Pedals with load sensor.
    Bass shaker under the seat.

All this greatly added immersion to the PC car simulator.
I feel the behavior of the car on the steering wheel, I feel all the bumps in the road under the seat.
In a virtual reality helmet, I see how steep the hill or descent is in front of me.
But there is one feeling that is VERY missing. This is the feeling of a car braking.
And this can currently only be realized using programs such as simtools.
I tried a motion simulator once and didn't like it.
The crosspiece was under the seat and my head was shaking in different directions.
This did not add realism and I abandoned this idea for many years.
When I bought the Oculus quest2, I felt a strong need for the feeling of car braking.
But I didn't like the concept of a motion simulator with a D-pad at the bottom.
I believe that the cross should be next to the head.
I think this is a very very big problem! The head must move forward when braking!
There are several threads on this forum discussing this issue,
and I only found one motion simulator similar to my concept.
    (I could be wrong)

This is more difficult to implement. But everything in our world is getting better and more complicated.
We must strive for excellence. You can't stand still.
    Here's a video I liked.

The center of rotation of the axes should be closer to the head.
I spent a couple of evenings at the computer and developed a project. I want to share with you.
This is an unfinished drawing. There are many unanswered questions. Maybe this will help someone.
