    Hi all,

I currently have an ECCI wheel but I don't feel I have sufficient torque loading. I've spoken to the manufacturers and they've advised me to upgrade the motor controller as to feed more current into the motor to achieve a greater torque output (as this seems to be the bottle neck in the system). I've emailled to see what the current spec of motor controller is, but I get a reply, I've started having a look around to see what's available and what this job would entail. Would any of the Pololu range be capable of this application?

I'd like to look at a steering torque loading of around 15-25NM.

    Thanks

    Julian

have you considered buying a logitech force feedback wheel, like the driving force gt or g25 or g27. Plenty of torque in those wheels to hurt your wrists.
    :D

I've used a g25 with the ARC kit and I think its weaker than the ECCI7000. Ideally I'd just like to modify it to give the motor some more juice, maybe a motor controller than an output 8 amps? Anyone?
