    6DOF
    Hey folks
in linear actuators for 6DOF projects its essential to get the linear position of the actuator, some use POTs for this purpose but i find some great builds use internal hall sensors in BLDC motors and some use encoders.
I am not sure fully understand how hall sensors/encoders could measure the position of the actuator could anyone help explain it please.
