    3DOF, DC motor, Arduino
I'm making my first steps into finally creating my full sized 2dof motion sim loosely based on my prototype. I've been searching for probably a month or two now for the right motor. I'm really trying to stay cost effective and I think I've finally found my solution, but I need to know if you guys think this would work.

I attached an image of the motor I'm thinking of using to control the back two corners of my sim. I read a post about a guy making a 2dof sim with prius electrical power steering motors and i found some other electrical steering assist units on amazon, but then I found JUST the motor which costs far less than the whole assembly. His sim worked perfectly, and I'm just wondering if you guys think these motors would work.

You really need to post the full motor specs.

But my first thought is what is the actual 2DOF design you plan and doe it require a wormdrive or actuator coupled to the motor?

i have really been trying to find the specs but for whatever reason i cannot. i plan on using an arm directly connected to the motor, about 2.5-3 inches from the rotation point of the motor. a u-joint will support almost all of the weight of the rig, it'll be sitting right in the balancing point of the rig.

My guess would be that the motor alone may be inadequate.
