    My Motion Simulator:
    Motion platform, 6DOF
Hi! Im new here and is just starting doing some research before designing and eventually building my 6dof platform.

I am currently looking into what type of motors to go for. As of right now Im thinking rotary servos is the best solution for me, as it seems like the most compact platform. I have a hight constraint of 1.9m and a witdth constraint of 2.3m. On the other hand I can bolt the rig to the floor, so I should suffice with a quite compact form factor stability wise.

Now, I also have laying around an old 24V 2kW PSU, and arduionos, ESP32s and other electronic stuff. So to be able to use what I have laying around I was thinking 24V motors. Does anyone have any ideas what motors would work? I have seen some cheap closed loop stepper motors with feedback, but can't seem to find any projects on this forum actually using these types of motors. Any suggestions or tips for motors? Are there other projects on here using the same kind of setup?

    cheers!
