    Hi All,

I've now spent many hours trying to work out the issue talking to my motors corre with SMC3. I triple checked the wiring and everything is correct.
I have done as per the post, set everything to zero, kp400 and increase the PWMsx slowly, however the motor makes no attempt to move. Also the green line doesn't move but the yellow line moves upwards.
If I manually turn the PID then the green line moves. However as soon as the motor does attempt to move it hits limits and disabled itself, no matter what limits I set.
If I load up SimTools then the motor does respond when doing output testing, however it if very jerky.
Any advice please as I am at my wit's end.
    Thank you
    Richard

Can you please let us know what control boards you are using and post pictures of all of your settings.

    Thank you for the response

I am using an Uno R3

So when I set the Pot (Green) to center and increase the PWMax nothing moves on the motor but eventually the green line hits its limits and disables the motor.
When I reset the Pot and click on the motion, the motor moves, the green line hits its limits and the motor is disabled. So the motor works, the pot works it just doesn't seem to work together. Please see screenshot shots showing the stages. IMG_20231120_124218.jpg IMG_20231120_124238.jpg IMG_20231120_124327.jpg IMG_20231120_124415.jpg IMG_20231120_124432.jpg

Fixed it, reversed the motors and works like an absolute charm, now onto the frame build.
