Worm gear motors have a worm gear mechanism that helps to lock the position of the rig. Does wiper motors have that sort of mechanism. If not then kindly describe how to lock the position of the rig at certain roll, yaw and pitch etc angle

Wiper motors do not lock, nor is it useful.

I suspect what you are aiming to do is in a flight game do a barrel roll or loop, with the aircraft holding that attitude until the joystick is returned to center, rather than the rig inverting axis position at 180 degrees, is that correct?

If so a number of flight game plugins, such as MSFS2020, that have roll and pitch rate which can be used via Extra 1 and Extra 2, instead of traditional roll and pitch

Exactly the same thing I'm building. I'm replicating pitch and roll of the aircraft using flight game.
The case you discussed is applicable only in MSFS 2020/ I'm currently using Xplane 11 . Is this case is suitable for Xplane 11?
Can you kindly provide some threads where I can see how to configure simtools for 2DoF flight simulators. Precisely how to set axis .

    Yes the Xplane plugin supports Extra1, Extra2 and Extra3 as pitch/sec, roll/sec, yaw/sec: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/marketplace/x-plane-v11-plugin.235/

For any motion profile make sure you have the SimTools manual and keep it handy for reference: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/rtfm-start-with-the-official-simtools-documentation.117/

Then check out the motion profile tips in the FAQs: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/steps-to-create-a-motion-profile.228/

Read through the whole section of tips, but pay particular note of tips relating to flight profiles, including the use of Extra 1 and 2 in place of traditional pitch and roll, plus first capturing then using much larger Tuning Center values than you would for a race profile.

lots of wheelchair motors have built in magnetic brakes - when power is dropped the brake engages

personally i have disabled them on my sim - if your motors have the correct gear ratio the energy required to hold position is very small

Can we use them with the smc3, ibt2 and the given arduino code and schematic diagram

    Yes

What type of actuators are you building
