    Hi,

as you know, the human being is never satisfied with what it has archieved. So I have a very nice 2DOF sim, that makes really fun, but my head always thinks about modifactions. My wish that I ever had is a 3rd drift axis, but now I also think about puting the whole 2DOF (that works without track elevation changes yet) on another platform with two SCN6 with 50kg that gives me that elevation infos + a axis for drift. Do you have made some tries to invent such construction?

    Hi
scn6 50kg are to weak for heave (elevation)Look @ there force /speed curve.
You could fit youre 2dof upon a brd06 sim www.brdsim.com ,with the use of
    supported precision round rail.
It,s all in the stiffnes from the bridges, you could create more travel with wippermotors than expensive scn5/6 300mm stroke ones.

or perhaps a 12 volt winch motor on the drift frame. It would have plenty of grunt to do so.

I think I will only add the drift axis. Hard enough to make it effektive. The Sim is quite heavy yet, so it has to move quite light around one point locate in front of the pedals....

This is very good Adgun, I was going to implement a similar system for extending my 3DoF to a 6DoF.
