    Hi Everyone,

I am about 75% done with my 2DoF project that I plan on using with FS2020. As a new member, I really enjoy seeing all the projects, photos and advice. It has helped me out a lot. In that spirit, I wanted to share my unfinished project.

    Some preliminary stats:
The over length is 36 inches X 25 inches (91.44 cm X 63.5cm). I underestimated the overall weight when I designed it. The aluminum, hardware, motors and electronics are almost 75lbs (34 kg). I also underestimated the connecting aluminum brackets. The ones pictured below are definitely not strong enough. I will be ordering 14 joining plates to strengthening everything up.

    What's left?
    • Order joining plates and hardware
    • Order Tie Rods and linkage
    • Order seat
    • Manufacture 2 each arm for the motors. The ones in the photo are prototypes (3d printed)
