barts Thanks, now I will continue looking for a power source to move the engines and you can start testing

cool looking good, I use a 13.8v 20amp bench top power supply for mine works nicely running 2x 25amp winchs had planned for a 2nd unit but never bought it. Plus a battery in parellel with the power unit will filter out any back current comming out of the jrks as they are designed to charge the battries when the motor is free wheeling. Plus the extra amps from the battery helps when both motors go from bottom to top quickly as ya flying down the track and then lock the brakes on. Ya get that feeling of bugger here comes the windscreen, belts help. lol

Depends how hard he wants to push the motors, I know I would need 12v at 40 amps peak each motor, mind you , I push these motors hard on mine. So I use a 13.8v 32 amp peak and car battery in parallel, just to be sure. JRK's are set at 34amps max current to get motion right and then set at unlimited current. They still live!

aerobbit thanks, I know a battery in parallel provides more security, BSFT also use it just like you, but my goal is to use power without battery power, it is because I have little space, and a security issue, the battery have many amps and are dangerous if a child nearby, BSFT also recommended me to use 13.8 volts, so I will continue looking for something that I may have internet

:hi: think that if I buy power supply 15 volts and 26 amps work?, I think the jrk can run 15 volts, you think?

Yes, JRKS are set at 16v max operating voltage.
If you do run 15 volts for each motor ( I assume you are buying 2 power supplies as one will not do the job), then set max current at 23-24 amps, and create your motion profiles so as you do not get any max current exceeded errors in JRK utility.
That way, you are only using 23-24 amps of the 26 amps. So the power supply is not constantly on the edge.

Since he uses wiper motors I reckon the 29A/350W should do. The psu's are available in different voltages, but the 12V ones can be set to a max voltage of 13,2V

Hello Floriske.nl, he is not using wipers, he is using these things:-
    http://www.motiondynamics.com.au/worm-d ... orque.html
He will need PLENTY of power to move them well. The 29a will do the job, he would just have to set the motion down so as the JRK boards max current setting does not error out all the time.
By the way, I use these same motors.

:D so is floriske, use the same engines as bfst, although I have not tried, but the experience of BSFT confirms that they are very good

    Ah, nice!

Thought they where wipers but those are some good looking specs!
Just a tad too expensive for me for now though ;)

These are basically a 12 volt golf buggy motor, so you may be able to find an alternative. These are strong motors with serious kick, but require LOTS of power to move them.
