Hope this is the right section, otherwise...Move to appropriate pls :)

Bought this Frex last week (was also on sale here) and finally got it installed, actually....twice due to everything being misaligned the 1st time.

Downloaded everything (Simtools and AC plug-in) and went on track for the 1st time, only went forwards and backwards so some fine-tuning necessary but the little taste I've had so far are goooood :D

If you post your settings and a video that shows your rig movement and the game at the same time, then members can help you fine tune your motion profiles.

    Thank you :)

I've only loaded a preset (Omega GT if i'm correct) and went on track, haven't raced for a week and got a competition race upcoming Friday. After that I will have a look and post my settings ;)

it looks like your rig isn't stable on floor... the whole system is tilting, no?

Treu...I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment-complex and the whole base is sitting on 7cm thick damping-foam otherwise my bottom neighbours won't have anything in the closet anymore ;)

I see! That's a problem as you loose precision and amplitude...

You may find better results in increasing the width of the basement (even on foam)

If I make it even bigger (footprint) I think I will have a divorce :D

If all goes well, we'll be buying a new house and I'll have a room for myself, in the meantime this is the best it will get :(

When I bought it, the guy was saying the same thing. For the best action you need to have it straight on the floor but this will do also, maybe not to perfection but better than no movement ;)

I also have a Frex setup. Does the wrapping make a lot of difference to the noise level? The connection rods at the top are pretty close to one another. Maybe if you spread them more the load on the scn5`s will be a bit less, as they can only handle 10kg.

No, it does not make a lot of difference...But very little improvement is a win in my case ;)
I've also added 2 rubber steering covers (Renault) for the Whistling noise, also helps a bit.

About the connection rods...It should be correct, the guy from who I bought, modified the Frex with a 4-way swivel (and Simtools) under the seat and used it for years like this because the motion would be better.

    I don't know who is right, I'm still a motion-noob :p

well you should be oke then. Once on my birthday party I let all my buddies drive, but I think one off them leaned to much on the seat ore something because now there is very small play in the right actuator. It hasn`t got any worse so I`ll leave it like this..

    Hi guys,

Finally got everything set up again after my move across the ocean but struggling with the setup now..

Followed all the steps again but can't get the motion going ingame..
Game reads data as I see the tuning menu spit out values, id's are set to 0 and output testing works.
Also tried re-installing the AC patch couple of times but no joy..

    Any ideas..?

    Here are my settings:
