    My Motion Simulator:
    2DOF, Arduino
Hello everyone. I recently came across this forum while studying 2dof platforms. I got the idea to build a simulator for myself and my little son, who loves to ride LDFGT in BeamNG, CityCar Driver and Forza Motorsport. There is a long way ahead. I am currently busy making the H-Shifter. For the steering wheel, pedals and shifter, I purchased an Arduino Leonardo and flashed it in EMC. Today I managed to connect the Bosh accelerator pedal to the Arduino. The shifter and DDFB steering wheel are in line. I also have two wiper motors and an Arduino UNO and AS5600 for SMC3 are on the way. I faced the problem of buying high-quality BTS7960 on Ali. As my case progresses, I will post the material here.

In the vastness of Ali, I found a discrete H-bridge. In the EMC settings, it is possible to work with similar drivers. I think it's more reliable than the fake BTS7960, you can parallelize two channels. Unfortunately, this driver can only be used in the steering wheel project. The 2DOF platform on SMC does not support control by one PWM and one DIR (((

While my BTS7960 drivers are traveling from Aliexpress, I have finished building the H-Shifter. It is now connected to an Arduino Leonardo with EMC Lite firmware. The pedals from LDFGT and the accelerator pedal from the car are also connected to it. Today, for the first time, I rode a manual transmission with a clutch pedal in Asseta Corsa, Dirt and BeamNG. That's cool. I tested a head tracker based on a PS3 camera and a baseball cap with IR diodes.

I don' know what you mean by "fake BTS 7960" but i'm using a chinese clone BTS 7960 and attached a fan to the enclosure and put thermal paste on it and i drive for like 3 or 4 hour per day in the last 5 days and it works like a charm

I found an interesting FFB database project. I decided to repeat it on the EMC firmware. I'm waiting for the engine and gears.

I'm having success today. I have assembled the first servo motor. Three H-bridges with Ali BTS7960 arrived. Fortunately, all turned out to be workers. I use one for the FFB steering wheel, and the other two for the 2dof platform. I used AS5600 as a sensor. So far, as it is, but it has the ability to be programmed 180 degrees. I checked the operation of the motor in SMC3Utils. Everything works. I will select the PID coefficients.

Help. Programmed the AS5600 180 degrees to increase the accuracy of the ADC. Now the server rotates 90 degrees instead of 180 :-(

I returned the AS5600 settings to 0-360 degrees using i2c programming. You need to be careful, as the number of cycles of recording settings is limited. Now the servo motor is moving 0-180 degrees.

After a sleepless night, I managed to set up SMC3 Simtools and LFS :) There is still a lot that is not clear in the SImtools settings, but this is already a step towards my 2dof platform. Right now I don't understand why simtools uses limits over 180 degrees for my servo motor.

I assembled my FFB steering wheel and disappeared for several days in Asseta Corsa :)

Good time of day. I have not appeared on the forum for a long time and during this time I have had some changes. I've got a new Elegoo Neptune 4 assistant. Now I'm waiting for the little things with Ali to continue working on the platform. In the meantime, I've improved my FFB steering wheel with a printer and am enjoying playing Assets Corsa and Dirt Rally 2.0

After buying a 3d printer, I finally finished my ffb steering wheel. Then I made new pedals. After riding, I decided to try to attach a vibration speaker to the chair. Now I'm looking for ways to get a license for SimHub because I can't pay for it due to sanctions :-(
