Finally got a day where the family were out for the day so I could film some runs of the sim without a "Dad" or "Andy" being shouted up the stairs! :)

Here is a quick tour of the sim.

And here is a video of the motion when playing AC and DiRT Rally.

Sorry about the length of the second video (around 10 minutes) but tested a few cars so you can see the various profiles.

    Really happy with it.
Just waiting on consumer VR now to take it to the next level. :popcorn

Great job, nice to finally see V2 in action.

I hope you have your pennies saved up for closure VR, the expectation is that Rift pre-orders will be announced at CES.

Im guessing that your sims sways side to side if you push laterally on the seat back and forth. This can soften motion. Looks good but as a recommendation I would make your connection points at the top closer together. This will give you more of a locked in feel especially when not under motion. No rocking left to right which I thought I could see as you moved around and got setup.

Thanks for input @shannonb1 - I will try what you suggested and report back.

Also, I have 25:1 boxes and they do sway under load :(

@Historiker - Indeed. I did think about that just so you could watch it, but ETS2 when demoing a Sim is pretty dull. :) I guess I could have crashed or hooked up a few trailers to demo it.

One thing I do LOVE in ETS2 with the motion sim, because it's now a shoulder mount, is when I brake with a trailer I can feel the weight behind me. It's excellent and really makes me think about my speed when coming to a junction.

Surge is great with ETS2, especially on the full platform. I like the output in that game, it is a weird mix of bounce and rattle.
