    Hi Guys.
I recently got hold of a used Gen1 D-Box setup.
The four actuators and One ASM are fine but sadly it seems the second ASM is dead.

It was unopened from new (Seals intact) so not ever 'messed with. I opened the box up and did the usual checks, hoping to find something simple. To be honest I was shocked to see how simple it is in there. Power distribution, 2 brushless motor drivers and rotary sensor processors.

The fuse is ok and I have probed voltage around the board to be as expected. I've tried it without the actuators connected but no go.

The Unit doesn't 'boot'. The D-Box control app says "No Communication". The power/status LED doesn't light.

Do any of you D-Box guys have any ideas? Perhaps somebody knows of somebody who fixes them? (Maybe this is a common fault).

I'm not sending it to D-Box. Perhaps they would fix it but given the inexpensive route I took to get the setup, it's not worth the crazy price D-Box would want. I don't want to but I'll walk away from it if I can't get it working for a sensible amount.

Oh, I re-capped the board even though the original caps looked fine and tested within spec.

    Fingers crossed....... :)
