    hello
Need for Speed Shift is now available.
is it possible to make a plugin for this game?
    thank you for your advise

I bought it, but it's hard for me to understand how to make plugins or provide information.

have you tried to create a plugin?

I agree with riton - This game is actually big step from old school NFS type game to more like Grid. We`ve got Dirt 1 working with X-Sim and this is basically far away from that what NFS:Shift represent.

I wrote this one time before - this game have his own data for motion systems (you can see video - how it works), now it is time to find that data and create the plugin.

well i emailed SMS numerous times as well as wrote on the forums requesting the data. Never got any answers.

Bought the game, @ first i thought it was complete garbage but tonight someone posted settings to use with the xbox 360 controller and sure enough, made the game pretty decent. wouldn't mind running with the simulator one bit.

Yeah i saw your post at their forums... i would like to play this game with motion though... i also have it on the 360, but i don't like racing with a controller while looking at my expensive sim

BTW is your simwheel running again ? i get mine this week :) (off topic sorry...)

    Regards,

    Rob

hey splendid yeah i got the simwheel up and running again. feels better now then when it was new. how you liking yours??

i'm thinking of selling all my sim racing hardware and just mounting a g25 to my desk with a desk chair. i want to buy a shifter kart and if i get enough selling all this sim gear i'll get the real gear. just got back from a karting trip and nothing can give you that same feeling the real thing does.

On topic: hope this will work someday to bad it is't as easy as the codemasters games....hope also that dirt2 has the same lfs like option dirt1 has. dirt 2 is coming in december for pc. love those bumps and hills in dirt & rbr :D

Saw this video clip on You Tube of NFS: Shift Aston Martin DBR9 at Nordschleife
If the game plays as good as the video, it would be similar to GTR Evo but with better graphics.

NFS Shift is a great looking game and lots of fun. Even though it's not a serious racing sim, I think it's still worthy of an x-sim plugin :)

D-Box have add Need for Speed: SHIFT to theirs list of supported games. Which means - motion base support works !

Time to get it useful in ours environment.

Funny vid dude, i would really like to see a solution for this game.

The game is much fun, it's giving me that 'gran tourismo' feeling, and it runs very good on my pc. (unlike DIRT with AI from 2007)
I love the sounds from the cars of this game, again, its NOT a sim but its soooo much fun to play, missing the motion very much, its the only game that doesn't have it yet that i play.

I am not a wizard like some guys over here, hope you guys come with a plugin soon :)

    Regards,

    Rob

if you go to the dbox site they have a download section with drivers for nfs shift. maybe one of you programmers can take a look @ it and see where and what its installing. maybe it can lead us to the promised land :D
