    Hi
I am very new in this things I don't know anything about motion sim but recently I bought a rig on sale it was very cheap and also it had the logitech steering and pedals after buying that I got to know it was a D-box 1st gen with 3 actuators
And then I started searching how to use it but then I got know I need a dongle to connect it with the PC so I searched for the dongle but it's quite expensive only the dongle is more expensive than my whole sim
Then I searched more about DIY sim and got to know about this website
I just want to know this
Can i bypass the dongle or can I use the actuators with different hardware or some other software because I have the frame and the actuators connected so I don't need to build a new one
Plz someone help me about this

D-Box shows no interest is providing advice regarding their propriety system: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...g-with-third-party-plugins.14361/#post-193154

Please see the FAQs for SimTools manual and other details: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/simtools-settings-tips-and-tricks.18/category

SimTools needs to be able to 'communicate' with control hardware and code, in other words get information in a known format. That is the issue with proprietary systems, they don't release details on how to communicate.
