I've built a controller according to Micronics (http://www.mictronics.de/projects/avr-usb-joystick/) schematic. The board works great, except that if I attach more than 5 switches, the additional switches trigger two buttons in Windows. From some reading I've done, the IO ports require 10k pull up resistors unless they are pulled up internally by code. I do have diodes wired for each switch position, so the only thing I can think of is trying to attach the 10k resistors to the existing board. Does anyone else have this problem? And if so, did they find a solution.
    thanks
