    Hello.

I'm having a problem with Simtools.

Every time I start the simulation I need to restart simtools for motion to activate. It just beeps and it does not connect.
Sometimes it works sometimes I need to restart it 20 times to work. Once it starts working its stable as long as I'm in the game/simulator. When I exit sometimes it works but most of the time I need to keep restarting it until it finally starts again.
    Can you please help me?

    This is my motion sim

I'm not using a hub. I tried different USB ports. Everything is directly plugged in the PC motherboard. once connected it never disconnects or loose connection as long as I am in the sim. that's why I would not say it's USB bandwidth problem.

Have you checked for port conflicts?

Have you actually run something like UsbTree to map all your USB devices?

No I did not. Can you please recommend what software to install (link) and maybe a few quick words what to do with it? Thanks.

This is how it looks. I tried different USB host controllers. Now it's alone on it's own host controller and it still doesn't work every time.

I have a AMC-MDBOX setup here and it seems to be working fine.
I did have to update the firmware on my thanos controller when I received it, but I was an early adopter, so it may not be your problem.
May I see a pic of your interface settings?
    Take care,
    yobuddy

I tried with different usb cable. Did not solve the issue. What does that beep sound means. It makes that sound during startup of the game engine every time it's not working. I was also updating Thanos interface I believe. It was working fine for some time without problems...

It means SimTools was not able to startup an interface.
Try with an update rate of 10ms and see what happens buddy.

    @Thanos, any ideas buddy?

Could it be because neither of my usb ports is 2.0? they are all 3.0...

    Just tried with 10ms, didn't help :(

If you have a spare USB hub with external power supply, try to connect the AMC-MDBOX on that alone. Could be USB motherboard driver issue. Using USB hub bypasses that and uses generic USB hub driver. External power supply for the hub also helps as the AMC-MDBOX uses a bit more power too.

Something like this would work good:
Powered USB Hub, atolla 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub with 4 USB 3.0 Data Ports and 1 USB Smart Charging Port, USB Splitter with Individual On/Off Switches and 5V/3A Power Adapter www.amazon.com/dp/B083XTKV8V/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_VCBYBKN9M3YK416XSMFY
