    Hello, I have not build my simulator yet, but have started soldering a h-bridge. Today I wanted to start testing x-sim software. I managed to open Sender and Profiler on one PC, I got trouble when I tried to setup with two PC`s For Sender I have a Dell Dimension dual core 2, for profiler I have a Acer One. They are connected with a crossed network cable. I have tested the connection by sending files from one pc to another and it worked out well.I have disabled firewalls. When I open Sender I get this message:
    Socket connect error When I have the wireles network activated I dont get this message, but PC 2 is not able to connect with Profiler.

    My question is;

    Can x-sim use wireless connection?
    how do i setup connection to pc2?
    Sometimes does not profiler start. Why?. (The wheel keep spinning, and nothing happends)

    I do hope for some help to get this working. Just to be ready when the hardware is done!!! :D

    Thankyou for quick respons, I will try this after work. Do the Socket connect error -message say there is no connection with PC2? The wheel...The spinning ikon you get when profiler starts up. its spinning 5 seconds before Profiler starts, but sometimes it is just spinning and Profiler is not starting. When I look into the task-bar I find it in the prosesses-list, but not in programs-list.

    Is there a minimum system requirement for PC2/Profiler? (I do have an old Pentium III laying around)

    Hello again. I made static ip on my komputers, and first I did not manage to make it work. Then I tried to let my Dell Dimension run the Profiler, and my acer one netbook run the Force sender, ang guess what? it worked out well :yes: But of course I can not run GTR2 on my little netbook! So I no I must try to find out why my Acer is struggeling with Profiler...To little cpu? Fred
