I have an LC I´VE "Infinite Move" 2DOF. Have been using it for like years. Got me a new gaming computer.
This is what I have now. iBUYPOWER Y40 Gaming Desktop PC Intel Core i7 14700F NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 12GB 32GB DDR5 RAM 2TB NVMe Black Y40BI7N4703 - Best Buy
This is how I have Simtools set up V3 below. I am using com5 which says it is: USB-Serial CH340
AS I said all use to work just great with the old computer, but now with this one. I do have some movement but now much and they all seem to be the same no matter how I change things. Sometime it goes wild and crazy. Looking for some help Please. Thanks Norton

You had it working in the past, so check some of the basics.

Check the port is correct in Device Manager.

Check whatever the hardware is used by the rig has any required drivers installed on the new computer.

Make sure there are no spaces in the Interface Output settings.

Check the settings being used in Motion Setup are exactly as they were before.

It may look like there is a space between s and 1 but there is not.
    Drivers are loaded
Com5 will not let me take a screen shot of it, because of setting on the computer.
But it say com5 USB Serial Ch340, Port setting bit per seconds 9600, data bits 8, none stop bits 1 flow control none.
I even changed the port setting to bit per seconds to 115200. Didn't change anything so it is back to 9600
All roll pitch and so on all move the same way, Roll use to roll me to left or right on a banked track, now it just acts as pitch with yaw build it in.

    So it does move.

If so it sounds like your motion profile needs to be properly configured.

Perhaps, but could you please post a picture of your axis assignments in SimTools.

My rig people are telling me to get out of Windows 11 and go to Windows 10 Pro and all will be fine. This new computer has Windows 11. I really don't want to take a step back in time. Maybe Windows 365 would work for me correctly, I have no Ideal. Here are the screen shots you ask for. I made it simple just one axis test. I usually use four axis. So when I test just the roll, it does move but not the correct way like it use to in windows 10. What it does it instead of side to side roll it does like an up and a slight movement to the right and down and a slight movement to the left.
I have tired all different kinds of setting in the axis window, none even come close to what they should do. So I am thinking that Windows 11 is the problem. Which is not good for me. What are your thoughts?

I have no idea what hardware and code these rigs use, so can you please post pictures of your configuration and axis assignments from when it was working.

That aside, don't use a game for testing, configure the Default profile and test in Output Testing, particularly as v3 plugins still have bugs and iRacing in particular, introduced by the iRacing game devs in the latest update: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/simtools-v3-public-beta.17329/page-93#post-249031

I do not have access to that computer. It died.
I do test the axis in output in simtools. In the interface when I test my interface with the settings above in a picture. I never have both 1a and 2a both working. Always just one or the other. There is something screweeeeee with windows 11. Anyway thanks with your help. I will just let the rig do what it wants to do and live with it.

Wow just for hell of it, in the interface instead of Binary, I used Hex. So when I test the axis the rig moves just like it use to, My roll is actually lean to the left or lean to the right. But when playing one of my games there is no movement at all. So it is back on Binary like it should be, just moving however it wants to in games.

Anther update: I have all my games working with the interface setting to Hex, instead of Binary, my rig works like it use to. Assettocorsa Competizione, Automobilista2, F12018, F12020, Project Cars, Project Cars 2, Project Cars 3, RF2.
BUT IRACING DOES NOT WORK on Hex for some reason.
Hex is not how interface was set up in Windows 10 it was always Binary. Do you know how get iracing to work with Hex?
    Thanks

Your interface settings won't use different output settings per game, as the interface has no idea what your running. I think the problem here is, we really have no idea what sketch you are running on the arduino. But my guess is that the sketch uses Binary with a 10bit Output Bit Range instead of 8.

Before we try to get any games running thou, I suggest we re-check the interface settings and click "Test Settings" on this page, and make sure the settings work as they should.
    upload_2024-9-5_18-32-33.png

Then once we have confirmation that the 2 axis you have assigned work as they should (Axis1a and 2a), then we can move on to the axis assignments. Let me know how it goes after you get a chance to do some interface testing.
    Take care,

Interface set to serial binary, 8 and I tired 10 Output Bit, IN 10 bits rig goes crazy. In 8 bits only one axis work in interface. But in Hex both works axis with output set at 8 output bits. Some tracks work in iracing in the hex mode. As I said above my other games work great in hex, except iracing and live for speed has no rig movement at all.

It would be very helpful if you enquirer and establish what hardware and code is being used, and what communication format that requires.

It would appear that you are running RacingMat's sketch for the arduino.
    https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...-direction-hbridge-motomonster-and-others.67/

Which means that these settings are correct, and will not change no matter what game you play.
    upload_2024-9-6_10-27-22.png

For Live for Speed, goto the motion settings and select the Default profile, and make sure Auto Profiling is off. (check box right next to the profile drop box) Next, make sure your Axis Assignments and Max/Min settings look right, and give the game another go.

Also note that once on the track, you need to press 'v' on the keyboard to adjust the view to be sitting in the vehicle, or you will not get incoming telemetry data.
