Hello again. You may not answer this problem because I am using the "OLD SOFTWARE" (when it was free) however I am thinking very seriously about buying a DIY license. none the less here is my problem. I have no output on axis 1 in the Game Engine tool. Both motors are working when I run the smc3 utility in motion. I am only using 2 motors as you can see in the attachments. "Any" help would be great. Thank You

Thanks yobuddy , that fixed that problem. I am getting old and even with glasses on I mussed that. Axis is working but now I seem to be having problems getting my pitch and roll to work right. I tried all configurations in game engine (Axis Assignments) by setting my DIR. Roll works fine when both axis are checked/highlighted, however pitch is another problem. I can't get it to work right. when I pitch UP, it rolls RIGHT and when I pitch DOWN, it rolls LEFT. My two motors are mounted to the front of my platform at about a 22 & 1/2 degree outwards the #1 motor is reversed at my motor relay(see pic) brown is ground. I hope these problems go away when I purchase the licenses.

    Thank for your help
    Terry

Which way an axis moves is determined by the Dir settings, which in turn depends on how the motors are wired, this is what SimTools expects: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/faq/which-way-to-set-simtool-axis-movements.230/

As an aside, SimTools 1.3 and all related plugins have not been maintained for many many years and should really not be used.

If roll works like in the pic below, then both pitch 'Dir' must both be checked or unchecked.
The 2 axis need to work together to pitch.

As @yobuddy and I have both explained the 'problem' is misconfiguration of the DIR settings, which determine how each axis moves, and that is unrelated to to the SimTools version being used.

But as v1.3 and all the related plugins have not been maintained for many years, it is likely other issues may be encountered once that basic configuration is corrected, related to game updates breaking plugins and the like, which nobody is going to fix.

Thank you both for that information. I unchecked both axis in DOF-2 and checked both axis in DOF-1 and it worked as it should. I totally agree with you on the v1.3 software and that is why I am going to update my system. I have been reading on the forum that getting your sims to move more softly sort of saying that the update will help me out a lot and I do need a lot of help as I am growing "OLD" but you probably all ready know that from all the threads I have open. Any way Thank You again
