Hey guys. I got simtools all setup, so as I can move my output testing, and it will move the actuators, but when I get into LFS, doesn't return any data. The game manager says that the game is running, so all the plugins are working, but the tuning center isn't getting any data, and neither are my actuators.

I was hoping some of you would have a trick up your sleeve.
    Thanks!

Welcome from another guy in Oregon! I'm just coming up to speed on SimTools, but I had what sounds like the same problem setting up Dirt 3 for the first time last night. It said "connected" and everything acted like it should work, but no data. What happened was I patched to the wrong directory. Check that your Game Patching Path matches where you installed LFS.

Others here know a lot more about this than I, but post a few screen shots and that would make it easier for others to help.

@Zoxks have you patched the game ? have you created a profile for LFS in game engine under axis assignments? do you see numbers changing in tuning center? did you run the game before patching it? post your settings(game engine and tuning center) and we will find what's wrong :)

So I made sure that it was indeed patched to the right directory. Here are some pictures of the settings:

I also looked at the virtual axis window as well, and nothing was happening.

    Figured it out!!!

I did what you said and uninstalled the patch, ran the game, and reinstalled the patch. Now it all works!!

    Thanks very much.

What kind of simulator do you have? Commercial unit or a DIY unit? Start another post and show off what you have. If you are close to Eugene maybe we can compare notes sometime.

Welll, its not done yet, but its a DIY 2DOF sim with about 200 degrees of rotation in both directions.

200 degrees of rotation is something! Start a build thread so we can check it out and follow your progress.
