Finally got some VR time in, and when I put on my headset the screen somehow does not seem as wide...

I've played with IPD and ran full setup again, but it still does not feel as wide as it did even last week...

Feels like I have a square box on my head and really aware of the sides / blinkered view almost... Any ideas??

The lens to eye distance can affect the perceived FOV. Have you altered the fit of the straps for anyone recently?

Is there anything weird happening with your display settings?

I'll backtrack everything tonight @noorbeast and see what I discover. Only I use it, so not a fitment issue.

Would the distance between the HMD and the sensor/tracker affect it? I've not actually moved that, but might try it as part of TS.

The distance between the HMD and the sensor should not alter tracking. What you are describing seems odd in that FOV should not really change once everything is set up, but it sounds like something is messing with it.

Checked the sides and low and behold one of the Velcro straps was shorter. Reset the fitting and all good again now!

Didn't even think to check that as the fit still felt the same. Suspect the kids have been messing! :)

Goes to show, even a few mm's out of whack can effect that sweet spot!

    Thanks for the tip @noorbeast
