    My Motion Simulator:
    Arduino
    Hi
    Newbie here....
So I have an Arduino that drives two fans and I have a bit of software someone made for Iracing that speeds up and slows the fans based on the speed telemetry from the game.
What I would love to do is have the same effect work in Assetto Corsa/Project Cars/Rfactor2 and Dirt Rally.
So I have downloaded and installed the Game Manager and Game Engine s/w but now I am completely stuck!
I have no idea how to get the Sim Tools to see the speed data from the games and send it to the Arduino.
Is there anyone out there who would be willing to help me get this working?
I figure that if I can get one game to work I'll probably be able to fudge my way through the rest...really its a case of not understanding what I have to do....I've read documentation and searched the forums but it seems I am just not smart enough to figure it out!
If there is a kind soul out there willing to offer some assistance it would be gratefully appreciated!

    Cheers!
    Richie

Ill try. But you will still have to look some things up yourself.;)

If you want dash data you need to download Game Dash too. If that's all you want and not motion too then you only need Game Manager, Game Dash, and Plugin Updater.

First, use Game Manager to set up a network interface between Game Manager and Game Dash. See docs.

Second, install the plugins you want to use using Plugin Updater. See docs.

Third, use Game Manager to patch the games you installed plugins for. See docs.

Now you can run a game and you should get speed output in Game Dash (usually in kmh already and assuming the game is dash enabled).

Forth, use Game Dash to scale the dash data if necessary and then to output data to a serial or net interface.
You will set up the interface so it will communicate with your arduino as it expects to receive the data. See docs. :cheers
