I acquired a Owatch 5DOF rig which is a similar construction to PTActuator.
This system had a lot of issues but I have it running well now but I notice some lag between motion effects.

The system uses Syntron 80CB075C-543AA0 actuators hooked up to a box that contains a Syntron
    HS0075AE-P22S and a Syntron MDBOX.
this is connected via ethernet to the PC running a version 2 of simtools with a simtools plugin "made by owatch"

This plugin has these settings that seem to affect the actuators:

    Access Distance
    Lead Distance
    OneTurnPulse

I am wondering if anyone can shed light on what these setting may do
And also how I might tune the rig for better response?
