Hey guys, I have several installs of rfactor. How can I patch the plugin for them as they are all different directories? I tried to rename the plugin for the different installs but that didnt work. Some of the rfactor mods are standalone installs so I cant keep them in the main install folder.

    Thanks for the help.

Is it possible to have multiple installs of Simtools? This way you patch with each of those. I have also been thinking of something similar as I was going to use one PC for two different platforms and it would be difficult changing the settings for the controllers each time I changed "seats" so to speak.

Not possible at the moment to have multiply installs of rfactor patched, even tried changing the name and didn't bother to change plugin as game would not fire after name change. Bummer
May be needed to be looked into if a few people are wanting this.
At present all you can do is unpatch one and patch the other and the other will run vice a versa.

Well I been informed on how you can achieve this, new to me,

Patch one of the rFactor installs.
Copy the SimTools_rFactor.dll and SimTools_rFactor2.dll respectively from the \rFactor\plugins or \rFactor2\plugins directory to the second or third or fourth installation.

    Thanks @value1

    lol - you guys rock!
I didn't even know it was possible lol
I would have said to just re-apply the patch to the one you want to play, but this is even better.
    well done!

    Help me...
I have original Game Stock Car 2012, Game Stock Car Extreme and Game Stock Car Extreme (Steam version) in my pc.
The first two versions are full of various mods while the steam version is clean.
There is a way to use a SimTools plugin with all three games?

I am sure that you can use it with SCE Non-steam and Steam version.
I am not sure about GCS 2012.
Also, the number of mods don't affect the plugin, as long as the main .exe file is untouched.

The easiest way would be to unpatch and repatch the different game paths in GameManager as you wanted to use them, it only takes a few seconds to do it. That would keep all the designated GameEngine and Tuning Center settings.
