    Good morning,

Today I checked in this wonderful forum and ask excuse for my English. Now I will use the translator. I am Italian.

I finished building a 6DOF with serve motor PWM (those used for modeling).

For the transmission of data I used the Pololu Maestro card.

I connected to the Pololu Maestro 6 engines and I put a 6V power supply for the motors. I only used the USB connection from the card to the Pololu Computer and installed the software Control Center. I verified the presence of the device's hardware devices installed correctly on my PC and I have made some tests of movement with the software Control Center. All good up to here.

I installed X-Sim Aluminum 3005, Started X-Sim Converter and Output Setup I chose Pololu Commander Master Controller COM3 ADD comport to list, and chose to use USO.

But I can not get my 6DOF, even during the 6DOF calibration is stopped, the engines are not running, everything is still.

I also tried to enter the strings:
    ~ 255 ~ ~ 1 ~ ~ 0 ~
    ~ 255 ~ ~ 1 ~ ~ a01~
    ~ 255 ~ ~ 1 ~ ~ 0 ~

    but does not work.
    Something wrong or forget something?

I ask for your help to solve my problem.
    thanks
    Antonio

Re: Problem setting Pololu Maestro with X-Sim

I finally made my move by the 6DOF, but it is another problem: my servmotors turn only 90 degrees. How can I rotate 180 degrees? I've read somewhere that you have to work on the string datapacket with axisinformatins, but I do not know how.

    Can you help?
    thanks
