    Hello!
I have just build New 2dof simulator and I have weird problem.
Everytime I close smc3 utilities or sim tools, both motors goes down. When I start game, motors goes up where it should be.
In game everything also works like it should. Its just annoying because rig doesnt stay where it should be all the time.
How do I get motors to stay In their positions? Is It possible that my psu doesnt give enough power? Psu has 24v/15amp. Motor is 16 amps each.
Earlier I had 2dof seat mover and there was no problem like that.
In seat mover I had 2 wiper motors and now I have 2 big wheelchair motors. I have changed Electronics to 24v.
I have ibt-2 and arduino Uno.

That sounds like the motors can be back driven, that means they can be moved when power is not applied as a result of the load on them.

This often relates to both design and the ratio of the wormdrive. For example, on my compact 3DOF I currently use 60:1 wormdrives, which can't be back driven, but previously used 50:1s, which were initially OK when brand new, but after a little use they loosened up and could be back driven. I have previously used 25:1s and they are easily back driven.

For motors that are back driven the low tech solution is pivoting chocks, for when there is no power: https://www.xsimulator.net/communit...k-driving-when-not-powered.14900/#post-200346
