    My Motion Simulator:
    3DOF
Hey guys, I've already built a few 4dof rigs based on SCN and SFX 100: https://www.xsimulator.net/community/threads/my-4-dof-g-seat-belt-tensioner-cockpit-build.15845/

I want to build another 4dof SFX100 rig using 80/20 Extrusion. I plan to use 1.5" x 4.5" for the base, braced as needed, as I know torsional loads are the issue. I'm curious what guys are using for wall thickness? .160" or can I get away with .120"? .120 is cheaper and lighter.

What are guys doing for traction loss? The last one I did used a leadscrew but it's bulky and I'm open to suggestions.

Also, any recommendations on US based suppliers? I could also purchase a pre-cut rig and just building off of that if anyone has a good supplier.

Looking forward to any suggestions here. Thanks!
