Since I'm stuck with normal monitors for awhile because my Rift is no longer working, I started to search info about simple dash setups. I'm definitelly a gadget person and was secretly sorry because there was no reason to build dashboard for a Rift rig:) Now I have excuse to do that! Found tm1638 first from Fergo's projects (www.fergotech.net) and ordered parts. Then I found @eaorobbies tutorial of the same thing using Gamedash, but found out it does not support iRacing yet.

Does someone know if I can use Fergos software along Simtools to drive tm1638 without some kind of conflicts?

Further along, I'm planning to use some real off the shelf car gauges and drive them with Symprojects Pro-Gauge. With their software. Will there be conflicts?

I saw @RacingMats post about using Arduino and stepper motors, definitelly interesting, but problem still is iRacing support. And the fact I'm too lazy and unskilled to create good looking frontpanels for gauges...

Ok, answering to my own questions :) It seems that Fergos software works just fine with Symprojects SimDash, Simvibe and Simtools. Atleast softwares were all receiving data, but since I don't have hardware for the dash yet, I'm not 100% sure. But now proceeding to order Pro-Gauge and SimScreen from Symprojects along with tm1638 for starters :D
