    Ok,
So I just got my kit from the guys at dofreality.com very good quality! My rig is a 3DOF pitch / roll / traction loss.. I have 2 sensors for my oculus. Should I try and mount them on my rig, or keep them static.. Looking for input on this :)

    Thanks
    Dave

While somewhat of a generic question when asked with specific reference to a commercial sim means that this should be in the commercial section, @Pit can you please move it when you have time.

Generally speaking with smaller axis movement sims you can have the Oculus cameras off the rig and you won't really notice it. But for large axis movement sims you do need to mount the camera on the rig and according to @SeatTime's latest experiments, post the 1.13 Oculus patch, a motorised stabilising gyroscopic mount is the way to go to mount it.

So best try it off the rig first, as it costs nothing, and then decide from there if you want to go down the potentially more complex route of mounting the camera on the rig..
