    Hi,

Here is my small collection of profiles for the LFS / DiRT games!

    Thanos_LFS_DC_motors_profiles.zip

In it you will find the bs2 test LFS lat long.rnr that is only for lat/long accelerations and used it in the earlier BS2 electronics.

The z_data_in_fr3x_LFS.rnr is the one that was mixing the heave motion to the pitch motion to simulate bumps and road abnormalities. Again I was using it on the old BS2 electronics.

And the last best xyz lfs config.rnr is the one that is calibrated to work on the new AVR motion controller electronics and also mixing the heave motion into the pitch motion as well.

You can use the following USO settings with it to move DC motors:

Ok, you are right. Even if LFS and DiRT have compatible profiles, this doesn't mean that the motion data coming from both of them are identical.

So I will qualify the profiles, I gave, only for LFS (Live For Speed) use.

New profiles for DiRT will be made, as soon as I calibrate it with Avr motion controller and my joyrider motion.

    Regards, Thanos

Hi Thanos or any other sim member out there Know where can i find a profile for LFS using your AMC Electronics and DC motors ..have sucessfully tried the X-sim 1.6.9 setup and other than an intermitant Comms Problem the system seems fine so far .. would like to try out X-sim2 but the sample files supplied dont seem to include the DC Motor Option (*.Rn2) ?? Can anyone post a Screen dump showing the USO settup for Dc wiper Motors Please. been skipping through some posts and noticed that someone else had a similar Comm's Problem ie does not alway repeatedly link up with the USO Output when pressing the start button on the profiler ? the main thing for me is im on the right track and bit by bit my baby is taking shape and should have a Video as soon as the mechanical bits are connected to the Electronics

    Hi wannabeaflyer,

Here is a screenshot of the USO settings about AMC1.5 for the old x-sim profiler:

    AMC1_5_USO_profiler_1_8.gif

The RnR profiles can be still used as usual!! The only change needed is on the USO...

The old USO had a minor bug that in certain cases did not synchronize with AMC. I located the issue on the com buffer of the AMC that was filling with junk characters if the profiler was sending data before I power on the AMC.

The solution I found was to STOP the profiler from sending data, RESET the AMC and then press the START button on the profiler. After that I could STOP the profiler and START it again anytime as long the AMC wasn't powered off in between...

I did not encountered this buggy behavior on the new x-sim2 profiler USO, so I guess that Sirnoname fixed it along some other issues we had during early beta period...

    Best Regards, Thanos

Thanks to reading some of your and Other members earlier posts and comparing the Data you entered in X-sim 1.6.9 Profiller i was starting to understand forces and effects and how the work with each axis . now i have to finish my copy of your little toy Gearbox you used to test feedback and pot operation before connecting it all up to the Sim Chair .. Thank Thanos just got to make some small brackets to stop the pot bodies moving and then stage 2 of teh fun begins
