If the remember me function does not work, please delete all your cookies just one time.
The x-sim cookie from the old installation prevents the remember me function.

    regards
    René

Do you know exactly what cookies to delete? I deleted all the x-simulator and www.x-simulator cookies and I still won't stay logged in. I hate to delete the state for all my websites if I can avoid it.

I should probably add that I've only been a member for few weeks (so I probably never visited the old x-sim) and it is happening on all of my machines. Makes me think the problem may still exist.

I'll add one more data point: the function seems to work for a little while. Maybe an hour. If I close the browser and open a new one, I am still logged in. But not the next day. Maybe the cookie is set to expire too quickly. Or pehaps its a time-zone or date-formatting thing (I am USA Pacific Time, using US-style date formatting)

    Hi,

please use the link ucp.php?mode=delete_cookies to delete the cookie.

You joined at the 23.june first time, so your logout problems can not to be resulted by the switching from new to old forum.

If you want to be logged in (should work even when you open the x-sim site after days again), you have to select the check box button of the remember function again...everytime until you click the log out button again.

If you don´t activate the remember me function, you will be automatically logged out when the session expires. (round about a hour)

    What Browser you use?

I'll try again. I have selected remember me and closed. I never have chosen logout.

    I have similar behavior on IE6, IE7, and IE8

It DOES work for a few minutes (like, it did when I just tested), but then I visit an hour later and have to provide credentials again.

Still no luck. After a little while it loses its state.

Not to beat a dead horse, but this still isn't working for me on Chrome, IE6, IE7, IE8, or even Palm Pre, for more than an hour or so.
