    Hai,

Question regarding the voltage of the velleman usb interface
I have read on the forum that it will not work with te original air valves of the rnr, at 12\Volt
do i need to remove the transistors now and where are the located on the board
I will send the board layout as jpeg picture and have mark the transistors
Can you tell me if that's ok if the are the right parts to be remove
And can I than connect my original R&R 24V power supply

    and one other question ,
When i am calibrating the chair, up right left everything go's ok except when the chair go's down its going in some kind of pulls mode, you will sea the led's on the board going rapidly on and off like pulses
like its going in steps. The other movements are going smoothly its only the down movement

    Thanks

    Marcel

No, it was mentioned that the ULN Chip (opamp) wouldnt be able to handle the current for the RnR valves. You should try it with the velleman as it is, and if the ULN get hot or damaged, then replace it with new one. If you have a K8055 it should be very easy as it is mounted on a socket. They cost arround 1-2Euro.
Simhawk mentioned that he uses 2 ULN chips parallel (soldered a second one on top ;)), in order to increase the max output power. That should be enough. A single ULN has a max output of round about 500mA. Dont know how much the RnR valves do pull. Perhaps you should ask Simhawk for further info.

    oke,
I now have a 12V 1000mA psu and the valves respond correctly , accept the down movement it's going in some kind of puls mode , led 7 and 8 are switching rapedley the rnr is going down bath in a pulsating mode, i think it's somthing in the matrix, maybe you know what it is

    Regards marcel

1A is not that much^^ Watch out if it gets hot! Same for the ULN chip on the vellman!

The downways pulsmode is a Profiler matrix setting. You can fix it by disabling the pulses for downways in fast mode.

    regards
