Hey, I have a question regarding an issue I been having with my Rift. I use the rift for my motion platform, and every time I pitch up or down my head position in the game will change. At first I thought this was because the front of the cockpit, where the rift sensor is located, shakes when changing pitch. However, I don't think this is the case because when I pitch down the head position changes to up high in the virtual cockpit. As in my head is sometimes outside of the canopy. When I pitch up after 10 seconds my head position in VR shifts down to where I'm in the seat looking up at the flight stick and HUD. I'm guessing this is due to the shifting angle of the VR headset and sensor.

I looked around on the forums and couldn't find anything. Could someone help me out? I have seen other people posting their motion platforms and using VR. So, I would imagine that other people have had similar issues.

Thank you for the reply! So, from what I understood from that thread I would need to buy the rift controllers and then attach one of them to the platform, best position being right behind the seat above the head. Then I would need to position the Rift sensor as close to the headset somewhere off the platform.

Correct, though the Rift cameras just need to have good tracking coverage, which is not super close.

Thank you again for the reply. Looks like I will be waiting until payday this Friday to run to best buy and pick up the controllers. ^_^
